Webmaster job description

Job purpose of webmaster is to implements web pages, maintains content and oversees day-to-day management of the company website, and assures quality and filing integrity of web pages.

Key duties of a webmaster

1. Circulate efficient and accurate reporting, detailing results of each web marketing campaign and possible improvement
2. Maximize online affiliate opportunities and revenue generation for the brand (with possibility of widening affiliate advertising schemes)
3. Ensure regular communication and email contact with affiliates and act as main point of contact
4. Responsible for the design of company web pages, including graphics, animation and functionality.
5. Management of Pay Per Click campaigns to achieve optimum Return On Investment for individual active search terms for each of the major search engines
6. Work closely with the Operations Director to set and ensure marketing campaigns achieve budgeted commercial targets
7. Source and manage new revenue generating online marketing opportunities.
8. To develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
9. To monitor web server and site technical performance.
10. Implementing search engine optimization strategies.
11. Promoting client websites online to increase prominence within their web community where possible.
