Web Developer Job Description
Job purpose of web developer will be responsible for creation and design of clients’ websites according to specification.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of Web Developer
1. Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results.
2. Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
3. Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
4. Develop external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information
5. To design and develop the corporate website ensuring strong functionality and optimization
6. To design and develop relational database systems and their web interfaces.
7. To develop web page infrastructure and application related to pages with more advanced graphics and features.
8. To monitor web server and site technical performance.
9. Develop new Web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications.
10. Create a company-wide Intranet, allowing data manipulation for each internal staff member.
11. Maintain and enhance existing Web applications and all internal systems are integrated.
12. Perform complete testing of Web applications–unit and system, engaging users as necessary.
