Purchasing manager job specification include job requirements as follows:

1. P.Eng preferred

2. MBA considered as asset.

3. 10-14 years of relevant contract and procurement experience.

4. Experience in leading or managing a team in a fast paced environment.

5. International experience will be given preference.

6. Direct experience in project management.

7. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of broad indirect Purchasing experience, facilities hard and soft services experience is an asset.

8. Working experience in international and cross functional project teams is considered as a strong asset.

9. Ability to coordinate international and multi-functional teams.

10. Good communication skills across functions and countries.

11. Excellent organizational and project management skills.

12. Team player, self driven, taking initiative, enthusiastic.

13. Analytical and communicative, creative problem solving.

14. Flexible, ability to work independently.

15. Ability to work under pressure.

16. Willing to travel in the designated area.
