II/ Key job tasks of Production assistant
1. To obtain more information from supplier, customers etc. as requested.
2. To act as a dedicated project production assistant on festivals and other big projects as requested.
3. To be responsible for double-checking booking sheets and co-ordinating the distribution of information.
4. Proofread for accuracy and content.
5. To complete the administrative tasks involved in producing carefully and efficiently.
6. To organize tickets and travel for producers as requested.
7. To support the producing team and the assistant to the Directors in the delivering on the administrative and practical aspects of particular projects and the general business of the teams.
8. To call production meetings and other internal and external meetings as requested.
9. Schedule and track progress of manuscripts through development and production.
10. Liaison with packagers, pre-press houses and printers.
11. Prepare supplementary and reprint materials for print.
12. Compose own correspondence and handles calls of a routine nature independently.
13. Ensures the distribution of feedback and manuscript reports.
14. Provide administrative support to the VP Production, Production Manager as needed.
III / Job specification of Production supervisor
1. Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering is required.
2. Basic knowledge of GMP / FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health and safety.
3. 2-3 years plus experience in a supervisory capacity from a large world class / lean manufacturing environment.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liase with various support groups.
5. Able to perform stamping die adjustment and troubleshooting.
6. Willing to take up challenge, mature and independent character.
7. Able to work overtime and under pressure, good written and communication skills.
8. Previous experience of people-management and demonstrated ability in people motivation, organizing and team building is required.
9. Solid record of attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures.
10. Suitable candidates must be open to working shift.
