I/ What are problems with employee relation?
1. Lacking policies and procedures.
2. Inconsistencies in the application of policies (or actions which become policy).
3. Giving preferential treatment to an employee or group of employees.
4. A lack of documentation.
5. Not evaluating performance.
6. Absence of job descriptions.
7. Misclassifying employees as exempt when they may be nonexempt.
8. Low wages.
II/ How to avoid problems of employee relation
1. Explaining the policies and procedures in simple language and with confidence of its implication.
2. Equal status should be given to each & every employee working to install fair game play in the business.
3. Small scale business should update on themselves from paper based to paper free organization which will lead to free flow of information.
4. Small scale business should follow minimum wage policy of government.
5. Helping the employee with complete job description and even if multi tasking is required.
6. Business policies should be taken very much seriously in terms of its application which will be having cascading effects on the employees.
