Pricing analyst job specification
Pricing analyst job specification include job requirements:
1. B.S. in Accounting/Finance, or Business with a focus on accounting/finance.
2. 4-6 years of progressively responsible financial analysis and pricing experience in a government contracting environment.
3. Experience in development of Federal government cost proposals.
4. Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR, SBA, GSA, and Service Contract Act.
5. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, & Power Point.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections. Must be able to effectively present financial information and analysis to management.
7. Excellent math skills and strong attention to detail are required to be successful in this position.
8. Knowledge of contracting (Commercial, Part D, Medicaid, Long Term Care, GPOs, and Government)
9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
10. Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative analysis skills required.
11. Intermediate proficiency in Access, Showcase Query required.
12. Excellent PC skills required. Expert knowledge of Excel required.
