Marketing specialist job specification include job requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Marketing, Business Communications, English, Journalism, or related areas is required.
2. One to three years general marketing experience including advertising, promotions, direct marketing, events and public relations.
3. One to three years experience in web marketing including SEM, email marketing, banner ads.
4. Intermediate communications skills including listening, written, spoken, presentation and influencing.
5. Advanced ability to handle multiple projects and manage conflicting priorities.
6. Expert PCs skills utilizing various software applications.
7. Knowledge of the legal, information management or software industries, with previous experience in a high tech company preferred.
8. One to three years experience in traditional marketing strategies such as print and direct mail.
9. One to three years business-to-business product marketing experience, preferably in the technology industry.
10. One to three years budget tracking and administrative responsibility.
11. One to three years experience in developing marketing programs (above and beyond program execution).
12. Advanced project management skills including time management, prioritization, deadlines, workflow and organizational skills.
