Marketing communications manager job specification include job requirements:
1. BA/BS degree in marketing, communications or related field.
2. 5-7+ years of marketing experience. Some direct marketing, B2B and CRM experience desirable.
3. Must have Branding experience.
4. Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
5. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Well organized with ability to multi-task and think outside of the box.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a fast-paced marketing team.
8. Ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet deadlines.
9. Self starter; Able to work independently.
10. Exceptional skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Adobe and Photoshop.
11. Web marketing, PPC, SEO, social networking, Email marketing, and Salesforce.com knowledge and experience.
12. Experience with creative concept development, art direction, storyboarding and message development for creative design work
13. Graphics design and programming experience to execute creative concepts are a plus.
14. Range of ability and willingness from strategic contributor to tactical implementer in a company with limited support infrastructure.
15. Demonstrated success in a marketing or marketing communications role for a B2B technology company a must. Experience in marketing data networking and/or managed services a big plus.
16. Has direct startup experience or worked with startups in an agency.
