Market analyst job specification include job requirements:
1. MBA preferred
2. 7-10 years of equivalent work experience
3. Demonstrate a full competency and proficiency with respect to their discipline such as improving work process, developing market strategies, and understanding business unit goals
4. Work closely with business units to implement recommendations and solutions to complex issues and assignments, and develop process improvements and efficiencies.
5. 3-7 years of equivalent work experience
6. Exercise independent judgment on moderately complex projects and assignments
7. Conduct research independently and analyze data as needed.
8. Make valued contributions to the development of business solutions through developing alternatives and making creative recommendations
9. Build strong relationships and credibility while provided support to management as needed
10. Knowledge of information systems such as Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word. Lotus Notes and SAP preferred.
11. Highly driven, self motivated and enthusiastic team player
12. Strong Analytical skills and the ability to be creative
13. Experience in process/project development, planning analysis, and performing reporting
14. Excellent written and verbal communications skills
15. Excellent customer relation skills and strong written/verbal communication skills to make clear, accurate, and concise written and/or verbal reports
16. An in-depth understanding of the retail electricity and natural gas markets is preferred
