Manufacturing technician job specification include job requirements:
1. 2 year Electronic technical certificate
2. 2 year Electronic Technology AA degree
3. Experience trouble shooting and repairing mechanical and electrical devices to the component level.
4. Experience in testing, diagnostics, trouble shooting and repair of PCA circuit boards and complex instrumentation.
5. Experience responding to internal and external customers developing a better understanding of the business.
6. Understanding of TSI products and instruments.
7. Demonstrated sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines and customer expectations.
8. Proven commitment and flexibility in order to adapt to changing priorities.
9. Ability to use resources effectively.
10. Knowledge of electronic components and their usage in electronic circuits.
11. Advanced trouble shooting skills with the ability to repair complex circuits.
12. Computer skills using Microsoft Office products and experience with SAP functions.
13. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
14. Advanced soldering skills.
15. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and across departments.
16. Above average analytical, decision making, problem solving and research skills.
17. Demonstrated desire to continually improve our products and services.
18. Ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
19. Advanced knowledge of electronic test equipment ie… Oscilloscope, VOM and other test equipment.
