Manufacturing director job specification include job requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering is required.
2. A minimum of 10 years experience in Protein Purification and biologics manufacturing within a multi-national manufacturing environment, a minimum of 5 years at the Manufacturing Management level.
3. Knowledge of best practice manufacturing & materials management systems.
4. Be a strong planner and be able to effectively organize complex tasks through completion.
5. Ability to actively and effectively manage teams.
6. Good working knowledge of LEAN/Operational Excellence tools.
7. Effective coaching and performance management skills.
8. Detailed knowledge of cGMP manufacturing (EU/US) and its application in day to day operations.
9. Full understanding of Health & Safety and legal requirements for the safe operation of the team.
10. Excellent problem solving and project management skills.
11. Strong knowledge of implementation of ERP systems.
12. Good knowledge of supply chain theory and practice.
13. Knowledge of batch & continuous chemical processing.
14. Excellent safety record.
15. Lean manufacturing familiarity.
16. Proven written and verbal communication skills.
17. Strong PC skills, including MS Office software.
