Linux administrator job description

Linux administrator job description include key duties as follows:

1. Complete security audits on a routine basis.
2. Administrative scripting with Perl, Python and Shell
3. Plan and expand current service offerings.
4. On-boarding and migrating customers.
5. Provide customer support via telephone, e-mail, knowledge base program and other tools.
6. Daily monitoring and maintenance of over 100 servers.
7. Perform back up, file replications and script management for servers.
8. Test and apply new software and maintenance patches, including patch management services.
9. Perform other job-related duties as required.
