Data security administrator job description

Data security administrator job description include key duties as follows:

1. Backup tapes management and logistic

2. Office Telephony and voicemail system including liaison with phone vendor

3. Home Office liaison for security policies

4. Hardware and Software inventory collation

5. Assist and support yearly internal and external IT audit and SOX audit

6. Documentation of processes, procedures and policies

7. Act as liaison to IT team, branches and home office for all matters related to all IT Audit and projects.

8. Day to day administration of systems and user IDs which include creation, deletion, modification, resets or extension

9. User-account access sanctioning to various APZ systems and applications. Systems and Applications include all MS Window base systems, AS400, Lotus Notes, in-house and home office systems

10. Data Centre physical access administration, sensitive data protection administration
