Construction cost analyst job specification

Construction cost analyst job specification include job requirements:

1. A BS/BA and a minimum of 5 years experience in cost analysis, budgeting or forecasting DoD resources or, in lieu of a degree
2. Minimum of 10 years experience in cost analysis, budgeting or forecasting Department of Defense resources (Army experience preferred).
3. Ability to perform analysis of large amounts of data using MS Excel and to develop and present analyses using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4. Experience performing quantity takeoffs and skilled in understanding technical processes engineering drawings quantity determinations and mathematical and financial reports
5. Experience in preparing cost estimation of power plant construction work covering all disciplines
6. Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience
