Key duties/responsibilities of Accounts receivable:
1. Implement recruitment; give training and motivations to the team in charge of accounts receivable; supply leadership and coaching for assistants so that both organizational, departmental and personal goals and objectives can be all achieved;
2. Make sure that all important issues are solved even in case customers can release or hold their orders due to the financial condition of the account;
3. Make sure that the assistants in charge of collections are applying appropriate judgment in accordance with their designated authorities regarding releasing/holding orders;
4. Set up and make reviews on credit limits not only for new accounts but also the current ones;
5. Coordinate with both corporate and local financial institutions to make bad debt analysis, meet the requirements and suggest on accruals on a monthly basis;
6. Find out resolutions on complicated issues relating to collection. Set up and maintain relationships with collection agencies and processes, in the meantime, control such agencies in terms of performance and cost-efficiencies;
7. Monitor and reduce risk of credit by making analysis on annual financial reports, quarterly and regulatory documents of customers (if any), ratings of debt service and other tools of reporting;
8. Manage receipts of cash and application to assess and revise the efficiencies of current applications procedures on cash;
9. Discover and make appropriate corrections on operational barriers that prevent successful performance. In doing so, it is a must to establish and maintain a number of solutions to issues by using automation, revisions of procedure, changes on organization as well as collaboration with other services;
10. Have good communications with departments of sales and finance upon any material changes in the situation of financial positions of important customers;
11. Guide and assist cross-functional projects in order to enhance business results;
12. Along with departments of sales, operations and legal in such stages of quotation and proposal in order to make certain that terms of credit are in accordance with management objectives of cash flow, the corporate credit as well as policies on collections;
13. Communicate with both internal customers and external ones to achieve improvement in application of cash, collections and processing of credits;
14. Set up workloads, manage resources and budgets.
15. Develop, deploy and maintain corporate credit and policies on collections;
16. Perform collection based on possible risks of credit with significant past due amounts;
17. Be responsible for managing accounts under bankruptcy jurisdiction, collection agencies and other legal authorities relating to collection/credit;
18. Cooperate with outside agencies and legal authorities to implement collection actions.
